Equine Motorcoach and IEN Network Set for Kentucky Spring Horse Show in Lexington

(Louisville, Ky.) - Equine Motorcoach will be on site at the Kentucky Spring Horse Shows, which are underway at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington this weekend. The Kentucky Spring Horse Shows are an annual stop on the show circuit for the very best hunters and jumpers in the nation. The first week of competition is scheduled through May 11. The Kentucky Horse Park is also the site of the 2010 World Equestrian Games.

Equine Motorcoach will serve as the backdrop for International Equine Network's (IEN) broadcast from the horse show. IEN will use the Equine Motorcoach as its base for interviews and coverage of the Kentucky Spring Horse Show.

"We continue to attract the attention of the media and consumers," said Tom Stinnett, Equine Motorcoach principal. "Our unique Coach is an 'attention-getter' and attracts people to the horse shows. It also creates excitement as something new to view at the show."

Equine Motorcoach owners spent nearly a year working with several manufacturers researching and engineering the right chassis to support a new type of horse transport vehicle for the United States. The new Equine Motorcoach combines the comfort and amenities of a top-of-the line RV with accommodations for horse transport and tack and supplies storage.

Kentuckiana's Premier Truck Center worked with Tom Stinnett of Tom Stinnett RV Freedom Center and Mark Lee of Lehel Coachbuilders to engineer a truck chassis that met with the U.S. Federal Highway standards relating to construction, brakes, crash safety and emissions.

Equine Motorcoach will be built in Europe on the custom chassis specifically engineered by Volvo Trucks North America. Coaches are available in a 4-6 horse configuration. A 2-3 horse configuration on a smaller truck is due by the end of 2008. Every Equine Motorcoach is built to the customer's specifications including exterior finishes and interior amenities.

The International Equine Network (IEN) broadcasts domestic and international equestrian events of all breeds on a weekly schedule.

Equine Motorcoach is the official horse transport vehicle for the United States Equestrian Federation, which is located at the Kentucky Horse Park.
