Equine Motorcoach Set for Week Two of Kentucky Spring Horse Show in Lexington

(Louisville, Ky.) - Equine Motorcoach will be on site at the Kentucky Spring Horse Shows, which are underway at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington May 14-18.  The Kentucky Spring Horse Shows are an annual stop on the show circuit for the very best hunters and jumpers in the nation. Equine Motorcoach made its first appearance at the show this past Saturday. The Kentucky Horse Park is also the site of the 2010 World Equestrian Games.

"We had a great deal of interest at the show last weekend," said Tom Stinnett, Equine Motorcoach principle. "In fact, several people lined up appointments for a detailed tour of the Coach."

"We enjoyed seeing many of the competitors, trainers and owners we met at the Winter Equestrian Festival as well as meeting new people," said Stinnett.

Equine Motorcoach owners spent nearly a year working with several manufacturers researching and engineering the right chassis to support a new type of horse transport vehicle for the United States. The new Equine Motorcoach combines the comfort and amenities of a top-of-the line RV with accommodations for horse transport and tack and supplies storage.

Kentuckiana's Premier Truck Center worked with Tom Stinnett of Tom Stinnett RV Freedom Center and Mark Lee of Lehel Coachbuilders to engineer a truck chassis that met with the U.S. Federal Highway standards relating to construction, brakes, crash safety and emissions.

Equine Motorcoach is built in Europe on the custom chassis specifically engineered by Volvo Trucks North America. Coaches are available in a 4-6 horse configuration. A 2-3 horse configuration on a smaller truck is due by the end of 2008. Every Equine Motorcoach is built to the customer's specifications including exterior finishes and interior amenities.

Equine Motorcoach is the official horse transport vehicle for the United States Equestrian Federation, which is located at the Kentucky Horse Park.
